Miami Ballroom Official Website

Miami Ballroom is the Latin and Ballroom Dance Club at the University of Miami!  We offer beginner and advanced dance lessons for students, faculty, alumni and members of the UM community. We teach six dances per semester: Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Samba, Waltz, Rumba and Tango, each one month in length. In addition, members have the opportunity to tryout, train and perform on our Mad Hot Miami Dancesport Team, which performs at a wide variety of events, both on and off campus. We host an array of events throughout the year for our members. Most recently, this has included Dancing with the UM Stars, the largest student organization event held on campus in 2011 and 2012, attending professional ballroom competitions, our beach days, and karaoke nights. We are always looking for both new people that have an interest in learning how to dance and people that have previous ballroom experience. Whether you are familiar with the ballroom world or are new to it, you’ll love all our club has to offer.
